Hosted by the City of Port Phillip, this much-loved festival is staged over two days in February. It starts with a dedicated First Peoples’ Festival Day featuring two stages and attracting over 25,000 people. Day 2 – Big Festival Sunday – is a large-scale, multi-stage event, which showcased more than 50 artists and bands this year, and welcomed an audience of 325,000, making it arguably Australia’s largest community festival.

The CWK oversaw all elements of technical, operations and logistics planning, as well as the complex requirements that come with executing an outdoor event on this scale, including Emergency Management, Risk and Safety compliance. The CWK were excited to be part of the team, contributing our expertise to ensure every detail was seamlessly executed.

Achievements

The CWK successfully managed 65 separate local suppliers and 120 casual event staff

This was the first time The CWK has led production on an outdoor community festival of this scale and it was a resounding success.

The enthusiastic turnout was a testament to the festival’s enduring spirit and impact.
