In 2024 Sunglass Hut hosted their annual three-day summit – ‘Elevate’ – in Byron Bay, to recognise and celebrate top performers in ANZ. More than just event branding and positioning, Elevate became an attitude and a manifesto that we incorporated throughout.


Delivery
The CWK carefully curated the brand identity for Elevate to reflect ‘California luxury cool’ with a retro vibe. Within the grounds of the award-winning beachfront resort, Elements of Byron, we used a pastel palette and summer undertones, which sat perfectly with the wider location.
We kept engagement high with special touches unveiled day by day, including: a full custom stage set based around sunglass lenses; a seven-piece orchestra kicking off the event; premium room drops; an awards nights on the beachfront with a custom stage; an after party at a surprise location off-site; and a lush poolside breakfast to farewell guests.


Achievements
We applied consistent design, creative and messaging across the entire experience, from pre-event comms to custom builds and signage.
We created a clear distinction between each of the events to make them unique and memorable, successfully keeping attendees engaged from the beginning to the very end, with surprise-and-delight elements throughout.
Attendees gave incredibly positive feedback, with 99% rating the event as “very to extremely” organised and over 80% recommending the experience to a friend or colleague.
